Hey all!
When using the 'Create face', or 'Fill hole' tool often times the faces created point in the wrong direction. There seems to be a pattern behind how the direction is determined but it isn't intuitive yet. I guess the intention was, that newly created faces point towards the camera position, but this doesn't work reliable. Maybe the camera position isn't calculate relative to the new faces but relative to the point the camera rotates around. That may be why, in some cases the faces end up pointing in the opposite direction. I try fixing that by deleting the face again, rotate and move the camera into a new position, and recreate the face. Maybe this mechanic still needs some fine-tuning.
Extruding results in wrongly oriented faces as well at times. I don't understand the mechanic behind the direction of them yet.
Either way I would appreciate a way to manually flip faces.

Hello DrownLies
You can already flip a face's normal using the key I on your keyboard.
But you gave me a new insight on this issue i was trying to reproduce for a long time, thank you, i'm gonna try

Re: [Bug] Mesh Modeler: Faces pointing wrong direction
This may also be related to the issue I was having with the Transformation tool when extending the length appends one or more copies of the item (with multiple segments for making curves, slopes etc). Many of the connecting faces are inverted or missing.
(Some Verts appear to be mirrored rather than copied if that helps - faces can seem "twisted" like some verts on a face are in the wrong location while others are correct).

Re: [Bug] Mesh Modeler: Faces pointing wrong direction
Thank you very much for this tip. It is very helpful.
When a face's normal points the wrong direction, the edges to neighbouring faces turn red. If you hover over those edges, a message is shown. Maybe that would be a nice place to include information about this key binding.
