[BUG] New bugs Bad snapping / Texture icon broken

Post by AurelSM »

Hey,

I did a break, and i just come back.
I discovered some bugs which are easy to identified.

First, when you want to create a new item, you have to switch to item mod if you want your item get the snap with the grid.
Second, once your item is placed, it is not centered on X & Y axis at least.
Third, icons texture are broken once you unset visible parameter.

Here videos,

Hello AurelSM,

While i will investigate on the first 2 points, i just want to say that the 3rd one is the new "PhysicsID" material lib
Indeed, when you unticked "Visible" before, you couldn't see what material (and especially PhysiccID since it's not visible) was applied.
Also you were limited to the environment's materials.
With the PhysicsID"' material lib, you can now apply any physics to an invisible surface you want (i made checkered textures so each PhysicsID could be distinguishable)
Also, when ticking back "Visible", the Mesh modeler will try to link your PhysicsID material with the first one it finds in the environment material lib.

[EDIT] I actually have a question for the second video, how did you make your items ? Because i'm still having things aligned here.

I think, this is finally a chain of cause and effect which come from the first problem,
In the first video, we can think the origin is centered (this is what i thought) but finally we are not.

Resolve the first, it should resolve the rest ^^
