Mesh Modeler: Split tool no snapping
The usability of the Split Tool in the Mesh Modeler is limited because it has no snapping. Snapping by distance or snapping in the middle of a face or edge would be useful.

Hello DrownLies,
What do you mean by Split Tool ? "Cut Hole in Face" ?

Re: Mesh Modeler: Split tool no snapping
Hey niebo!
I was talking about the split tool in the modelling tools menu. Its shortcut is 'A'.
I am sorry, that my post was so short and not descriptive. This is difficult to explain with my level of English. What I meant to get too really was a more fundamental issue with the mesh modeller.
At the moment what I am struggling with the most in the mesh modeller is working with coordinates which's numbers have many after comma digits. As soon as a coordinate has such numbers it gets hard to align to other parts of the mesh. This is why I try to avoid them. To do this I sometimes need to do cumbersome workarounds to get coordinates back to round numbers. Using tools like Rotate, Scale or Split often times creates vertices, edges and faces which's coordinates have many after comma digits. So what I was asking for in my first post was having the option of snapping when using the Split tool in order to avoid these complex coordinates for the vertices it creates. Of course a better solution would be to solve the more fundamental problem. That means there should be a way to get a part of the mesh back to round coordinates so it can be easily worked with afterwards.
I hope this was somewhat understandable.
