* FIXED *

After a second test from the reseller and some tips from the manufacturer, they found out the keyboard was broken.
So they gave me a new one and everything is fine now...

Happy me! :yes:

Similar problem here - repeating key(s) cause menus to cycle as if arrow down key is stuck. This persists as long as the fanatec csr wheel is turned on. Turn it off, and the behavior stops. The keyboard is wireless and when unplugged, makes no difference - the same behavior persists.

I don't know what the OP did to resolve the issue since he didn't specify anything other than he got a replacement keyboard, after stating his problem only happened in TM games and not any other brand of game. That doesn't exactly add up to 'SOLVED' as the subject line states.

Fanatec wheel works perfectly in iracing. Never had any problems except for Maniaplanet. After playing TM for years with keyboard only, I was looking forward to playing their games with a wheel. The feedback from the OP is essentially useless unfortunately.

Any other advice on what is causing this issue in Maniaplanet only? (yes, latest drive. yes, reset to MP defaults. no, not affecting any other games)

Like I said before, the difference is how Maniaplanet handles input: (which is different than in other games)
Miss wrote: Some technical info on how ManiaPlanet detects keypresses by the way, if it helps you troubleshoot - it's using DirectInput for all keyboard inputs rather than relying on window messages. So if your keyboard driver does weird things with DirectInput this can be a likely cause.
You might have to specifically disable your Fanatec wheel in Maniaplanet's input settings, which can be found in-game. There might be double button bindings automatically created for the wheel that interfere with other input.

The behavior I see is visible when in Settings under Input, where it appears as if the down arrow is being pushed to scroll the list of settings down to the bottom, and once the accelerator pedal is pushed, the list moves up as if the Up action is overpowering the Down action. When I release the pedal, the list moves to the bottom again. I'm saying, just to be clear, that when I am not providing any input, the list of settings scrolls to the bottom as if I was pressing the down arrow key on the keyboard, even though the keyboard and mouse are not connected.

I have not found any way to 'disable' the fanatec wheel in MP Settings.

What I have tried is, unplugging the keyboard/mouse usb adapter so that the only input device is the wheel/pedals. No difference. I tried removing all mapped keys and mouse movements under their respective profiles, while setting only the Accelerator, Brake, and Steering to the wheel and pedals. Still no difference. With these settings, when I enter a race, the car's engine is at full throttle and the accelerator pedal acts as reverse, overpowering the car from moving forward.

Can I fire the pit crew? I'd like to get back to driving.
