How does one implement a MOTD a player can see when joining the server?

I know there is the message in the game overview screen but is there anything which can be set so it appears when they join the track?

I am using UASECO if that helps. Am working my way through the documentation but not seen anything as yet.

Currently there is no MOTD plugin yet, but I'm thinking about to write it. So you can send me please some messages you would think that would good.

No, that's why I would write a plugin for that. The messages which appear are random messages which are send multiple times and telling you how-to-use-messages.
