Re: Extremely dark shadows on some maps
Hi TMarc
Hope you and your family are doing well.
My 64-bit system is still dormant until I repair it, so I've been using my old 32-bit system for the last six months or so:
Intel Dual Core 3.2GHz 32-bit 16 GB RAM (3 GB usable), running Win 7 Ultimate on Boot Camp -- both are iMacs.
The shading issue has been coming up over the past three months or so...
My Alienware system was delivered from the US to me at a remote bush community back in 2005. While it is still running well and handles Unreal Tournament, Tomb Raider etc, it's just not up to games like Maniaplanet.
I still have my first computer, a Mac LC Performer 575 ($5200) from 1994 and a Nakajima Word Processor ($1800) from 1992.
Both still work fine, as I maintain/ repair all my own systems. The Mac still has my first game on it - Zork - which blew my mind when the old man needing a new battery popped up and started talking to me!
Anyway, I've learned to be patient with technology over the years, so as I said, I'll wait for some magic - or until I fix the 64-bit iMac.
Cheers.
(Not actual computer - Google photo - machine is in its box atm.)

^^
^^. I understand - I admit I stray quite often and go on more than I should. When speaking, I am able to talk for twenty minutes without inhaling: An unusual and annoying (for others) talent...
Cheers.

Cheers.
