Map objects pop up from low to high poly

Post by VoidSeeker »

When driving on a map parts of the map ahead of the car will "pop up" from low poly to high poly. This only happens in multiplayer. I don't know if this is a already known issue but I wanted to bring it up.
I have the graphic settings set to the highest preset with FXXA enabled.

You can set the quality of the cars in the Launcher in the advanced settings.
Perhaps set to high quality for all cars, at the same time restrict the count of visible opponents.

Are you talking of standard skins?
Perhaps custom skins do not have as many levels of detail as it would be required for a smooth transition.

@TMarc
I'm not talking about cars or their skins, I'm talking about the block's the map is made of. It's only with certain objects like check points for exp.
I will post a video tomorrow so you can see what I mean.

Ok, thanks for the video, the effect is visible.
But I fear it is normal behavior.
I'll check on my system tomorrow.
