Borderless Window mode

Why does this game always want to run in borderless window mode?

I have to change it to fullscreen every time i play the game as it changes back to borderless window. It's so annoying as i can tell when it's in borderless window as the game doesn't run as good.

Is this a bug?

No, it is configured as such in the Launcher.
Go there and change it to fullscreen or window or whatever and it should be good

I do have it set as fullscreen in the launcher but when get in game, it shows as borderless window.

Shows fullscreen....



And in game is windowed...

Are you perhaps forcing window mode in the video driver settings?
How are you starting the game? Using the launcher? or from Steam?

No, i don't touch the video driver settings. I start it from the launcher as don't have it installed through Steam.

I'm not sure how long it's been like this but only noticed it recently.

Perhaps you do ALT+TAB during the gameplay and the game switches to window borderless and not to fullscreen again.

How do you exit the game at the end?
ALT+F4?
or ESC, ESC, ESC... until it asks if you want to quit?

Yeah, i do alt-tab sometimes but the screenshot above i had loaded into the game normally. I press X button at the top right hand side to exit the game .

I just have tried on my PC, the game stays in Fullscreen mode until I press F11. (no other application execpt Firefox running).
Sorry, I cannot tell what is happening there on your system.

Are you perhaps using Discord or some other tool in parallel, which might use "video acceleration"?

This is a common issue, and can only be resolved (as far as I know) by completely deleting your profile and starting a new one.
