Some people think it is too early to give suggestions and wishes to NADEO because they have given us very little in the way of a direction to go. (even the E3 presentation was limited)
This "Off-Topic" thread is for those people who want to state reasons why NOT to post to the threads.
-too early to be helpful
-you have no idea the direction NADEO is going
-they are already in testing and your ideas will not be added
-too many topics to help them
please give more reasons that it is useless to post to a forum that was created by NADEO and open to suggestion.

Re: Too early to give ideas
First of all, we know significantly more about TM2 than SM and QM. TM has been with us for many years and we know what we want to change or add, to make it better. The two other games are completely alien to us!
Second. Yes, i'm sure the idea behind those two new games is already in place, but do we know what it is? No. We don't have a clue. So, it's really no point to make suggestions with no ground, not even a picture of the game!
I see many of your threads as pure fiction, rather than helpful suggestions.
Can I ask you something, have you played any of the games in the TM-series?

Shooters and RPG games are not alien to me so I know what I want in a shooter and an RPG.
I am glad that NADEO has given us a place to suggest what we want to add to a shooter or an RPG. I would rather tell them what I want to add to these games rather than tell them how they can fix them (or "make it better").
but this thread IS about why we should not tell them what we want:
-they are the developers, not us, we are the customers
-we can give them suggestions for SM2 and QM2 (that is where we can tell them how to fix the problems in part 1)
-we don't even know if they are making shooters or RPG games (there is no shooters or RPG's to base it on)
-the "suggestion" topics are useless for SM & QM because they are for a fictional genre... the FPS & RPG

Re: Too early to give ideas
if you go to a new resturaunt and the waitress asks you what you want, do you say "I don't know what you have, so I don't think I can tell you what I want"
If you are hungry for a hot dog at this new place, then you say "I would like a hot dog".
-It is up to the resturaunt to either cook up your suggestion, or come back with a taco.
NADEO asks "what do you suggest"
-I give them my suggestion, then they come back with: "can do" or "thats nice to hear, now here is what we made"
but at least they ask for suggestions... the fun is NOT in the hope that "I make the game" through my suggestions... but in the fact that I get to TRY to put my ideas into the game.
let NADEO be the judge of how "Fictional" suggestions are.

You know what. Do what you want, clearly you have little understanding of the main idea. I won't bother you anymore, i''ve made my point.

Re: Too early to give ideas
you are not a bother, you do make good points about:
-suggestions trying to aim at a target while blind.
I agree that we are all shooting blind with our suggestions. And in the end we may not get exactly what we want.
-But my point (even if pointless to you) is that I get to shoot (even blind).
To all those in this post.
-I would rather shoot blind suggestions at an IDEA that I feel strongly about (FPS creator)(RPG creator). Rather than wait for another shooter game or another RPG.
As for your other question: no I don't play TM, I don't even play ModNation Racers on PS3. I love FPS and RPG.
-When I found out that I had a chance to beg for a single player option in a new FPS creator... you bet I am going to suggest it, give reasons for it, and hope I get to play VS the Ai in a deathmatch.
I am sorry if I am bothering you with my suggestions.

Re: Too early to give ideas
this is why I sometimes believe more in giving your good experiences instead of suggestions
we used this work because it is simple, but it is more fun to see suggestions than really useful sometimes. It does not mean that it is not a good excercise and interesting to see the difference between suggestions and result.

Re: Too early to give ideas
It is hard to give good suggestions if you don't even know what kind of game it is other than "fps" or "rpg"! You can either say really general things like "there should be a level cap" which is pointless because Nadeo probably thought about things like that already. Or you can try to say specific things, but that's really hard when you don't even know the general idea behind the game.

Re: Too early to give ideas
-Even if the ideas are going in a wrong direction, at least we have a place to talk about our likes and dislikes.
-How can you tell a person that the game NADEO is making is not what WE want... it is called player-created games
I try in all my suggestions to SM and QM to give reasons and options. You may think that the ideas are falling on deaf ears (maybe so) but I still have the chance to make the ideas. Or would you rather tell NADEO that they should have never added a forum for SM and QM... because that IS what you are suggesting to NADEO.

Re: Too early to give ideas
The problem is Ubisoft outed ShootMania and QuestMania with NO info... they should have NOT done that. I blame Ubisoft for the poor presentation. They had nothing but a silly powerpoint presentation with Icons fighting. They didn't know what direction NADEO was going but decided to show SM and QM and made their own icons.
I love Ubisoft, but they should have waited to present SM and QM till they had a screenshot... maybe at another nerd rally like ComiCon in July, or GamesCom in August.
