Turn around horizontal axis block

I was thinking about what would be the block i missed most in the game, what i would make if i was a Nadeo Block Maker (mind the capitals ^^ ), and i came to the conclusion that it would be a block that would let you turn around a horizontal axe.
So that, when you are in a loop, you can change up and down of the car.

+1 to this idea...heartily support it, especially if things are "sticky" on the vertical and upside down, as is advertised...as long as you keep your speed up, anyway. :P But, just as a personal note to you, Knutsel, so as not to confuse other members such as myself :lol: the term you're searching for is "axis", not "axe" LOL. I use an axe to chop my firewood. ;)

It would be cool to have such pieces, might be similar to those changing from normal flat street to the tilted / ones.

My thought would be you drive towards a looplike first part which makes you drive towards the sky, followed by a piece allowing a 90° turn around your axis ending in the top part of the loop again (pretty much like those vertical turns in island, just as they are horizontal :D)

Although they might not be necessary at all, it could be kinda cool to leave the canyon by this way (besides, is there just that huge loop, or small ones as well?)

I had this idea, too. Some time ago... :mrgreen:
But I don't think it wokrs that well, as you have to stay exactly in the middle to not fly off the track. Compare it the the vertical Island-road. You have to stay in the middle or you'll fly off the road.
That's the biggest negative point. Besides that it's nice :lol:

this idea would work well with valley. if you watch the trailer again there are vertical roads which would be perfect for this. ;)

I like the idea, but i think that it starts to drag away from the TM feel of the game, and maybe going a little too unrealistic. Sure, the physics of TM top the real world are not 100% realistic, but (if I have understood the idea correctly) I think that being able to switch a car around in mid air would not be an idea that TM2 would want as they seem to be going towards a more realistic game.

I assume he means more like a half-twist type thing, like with rollercoasters where they do a half loop and then a half twist so that you are up the right way again. I agree, that'd be a fun block to play with!

I agree to heanry, this block would be very hard to pass and a little mistake will kick you outta the track in most cases...
macking it sticky would solve this but sounds really not like tm

anyway, if nadeo managed to create such a thing, this would be great :pil

Would it be like the one in TMU Desert? Only that it was a 360 circle?
