I'm not saying SM -has- to have vehicles, but considering that's what TM was about, up until now, and also considering the "shootmania-carpark.com" deal a while back, I'm thinking that at least some sort of tanks aren't outside the realm of possibility.

In the interview with florent on youtube(the one split into 8 parts) he talks about trackmania being about racing in its purest form, for shootmania it's first person shooter in its purest form, so i don't think it'll have cars. (that's why i came with the idea of doing custom playermodels in the shape of tiny cars.

True. But are the owners of MP at least in cahoots with Nadeo? I mean, they have to be, right? So they can plan for releases and site art and things like that? So they would know. And yeah, I understand that all the domains are linked now, but if TM2 was the only one to have any sort of vehicle, why call it Maniapark? Sorry, I love cars too much I wanna see them everywhere. And speaking of that--a bit off topic, but who ever actually said that QM is going to be a medieval-style RPG? Yeah, that's "traditional," but if Nadeo is anything, it's -not- traditional. Maybe it'll be a modern-world, postmodern, or futuristic RPG? Or, with the "create-your-own" flavor, you can do anything?

Carpark as well as TMX is built and kept by the community and doesn't have any link with nadeo except for occasional contact with nadeo's appointed community manager. Any news on releases that isn't public stays that way.

The reason why they registered the url was the fact Nadeo just registered Shootmania.com and questmania.com, that's all
