Think / hope there'll be lots of Platform races in the game?

Platform, my personal favourite category of event. I was disappointed by how little of it there was in Trackmania United compared to TM Sunrise, but I'm hoping there's to be lots of it in TM2. What about you guys, do you love Platform events, or what's your favourite event?

Well ... in the beginning there is no platform mode whatsoever.
There is only race, but it will be added later on, maybe with the valley update

AFAIK, there's going to be no integrated platform mode. But that's what the community is for. Don't expect other people to make the maps you want to race on Go make some plat tracks yourself! ^_^

afaik Nadeo said that IF they make a other solo mode they will add platform at first but not for first release, but as an update

According to Nadeo there will only be Race as Platform, Stunt and Puzzle are not that popular. If only Stunt, the most popular, gets played by only 0.8% of all players.
With Maniascript, also according to them, one should be able to engineer these modes themself.

I hope platform will show up eventually, it's my favourite game mode! I enjoy race to a large extent of course, but nothing beats the feeling that you get when you finally made that perfect, 0 respawn run on a challenging platform track!

Either ask/force/bribe someone to make a Platform mode for you or script one yourself!
