I have updated the file. Now it has an background-layer. Now It's not important to reduce to background. Please dont't delete the alpha-layer. When you delete this channel it's the same effect when the layer is completely white. This have an heavy metallic Look and the colours lookes like changed.

man, thanks for this. Now I can start work on my new personal skin... even though just made a new skin in the painter :roflol:

The DetailsDiffuse is much easier to manipulate, i don't need a Template. The only Problem is to know what is what on the Car. I use different full colors (red, green, blue etc), paint parts that can be what i think and look ingame for that color.

And for some Skin Builder: every time you chance the Skin File (zip) you must restart TM. Otherwise you only have a red Car in TM. ^^

I never got into skinning for TMUF, but I'm hoping someone releases a nice 3DS for the canyon car so I can lead it into photoshop (or blender) and see the results of my skinning without going into the game.

When you open car in painter, save the skin with it before doing anything else. After that you can use the reload button in painter ;)

This.

I've looked pretty much everywhere where it could be.

(all of the following folders are in program files)

- Nadeo
- Trackmania 2
- Ubisoft
- Mania Planet....
I havent found where the game installs it stuff.
