Hello
Looks good Tm 2
But the difference in drive style is big
What i want to know , how you play the game --- do you use the keyboard or game pad- joystick - steerweel
I used for TM1 already long time a Joystick from logitech , and always played Dirt stadium en Coast
the change over to TM2 gets my some problem with the drive behavior
Have to change fully my drive style , but i think that game setups are not so friendly for controllers , and setup for keyboard play
Whats yours ?
?? your game Expirence with Gamepad -Joystick -steerweel ?

Out of practice, but I noticed it's smoother and slightly easier on keyboard compared to TM1, tho it's still substantially better on gamepad, you probably feel awkward because the new "car wobble" adds to the difficulty a lot more when you're playing on a controller.

For me, it is impossible to drive it on a steering wheel - you simply can not turn the wheel so quickly. Best experience I've had in all TM games was with gamepad (Logitech Rumblepad 2), but I lent it to one of my friends and I think that he lost it. So now I'm waiting for another one from eBay to come. For now, I'm playing on keyboard but I am not used to rapid tapping in order to make a smooth turn. On gamepad, you simply tilt the "mushroom" a bit and you steer smoothly.
There are some good offers on eBay and I would recommend Logitech Rumblepad 2, there are some very goot $20 offers for refurbished models, which should be almost as new. I used it in TMUF and it server me well, as it did in many other games too.

I tried TM1 with a Microsoft SideWinder Steering Wheel - it worked kinda awkward, i had trouble with the dead zone changing while playing, but it did work fine, expect for that
Been using keyboard since the steering wheel broke, and i prefer the keyboard

I've been fighting with my wheel for a few days now (low sens, 200° steering) and it's certainly though but not as bad as stadium, about the same as tech bay or tech snow. If you managed those with your wheel you'll manage canyon as well
. Wheel drivers who reduce the steering angle and/or ramp up their sens shouldn't have any problems imho, the rest like me will get a nice workout while driving
.
Opinion might change as i get better / more time with the game ~~

Re: ?? your game Expirence with Gamepad -Joystick -steerwe
You have to turn the wheel at ridiculous speeds, as you often have to rapidly change direction. It is certainly a lot of fun and I bet that people watching me how I try to play with the wheel have a lot of laughs. However, you can barely put in a good time with it. Keyboard or gamepad/joystick it is...

To those of you that are playing Canyon with a wheel, please answer this question...
Does the game have ANY of the following settings:
1)Steering rotation
2)Steering sensitivity
3)Steering saturation
4)Anything else that reduces the amount of degrees required to turn the car
......? Please let me know.
Also, how is the force feedback for the wheel? Is it strong? Is it believable?
