You need to get new sourcelists where PHP 5.3.5 or newer is included.

Where to get it for Ubuntu ? . For now as I see I can only download from php website and manually update ( didn't really look at new version so I dunno will it support ubuntu atm.. ) c'mon guys we need a solution for this!

I spoke about this constraint with reaby it's due to some bug in the jukebox. Maybe a non blocking warning message if it's not the 5.3.5, and a real crash if the jukebox is loaded without the correct version.

well.. lets make it this way then i allow mlepp to run 5.3.2.. lets try to make it then compatible with the older php. since you guys have problems to get it running under linux. lets see what happens.

Hm if that will not affect the MLEPP ( if you allow to run under older php ) it would be good idea since Ubuntu is obviously running late with the php versions ^^ . Okay when ( if ) you finish it please notify me so I can test it .

The latest version is running php5.3.5 but don't forget that a Dedicated server with Ubuntu 10.04 is quite common as it's a LTS version. And reinstall a dedicated server is not as simple as that

You can also just compil the last version of PHP without installing it.
I can't upgrade it on my current server, so i use it in a separate folder.

What i did :
-Download last version
-./configure with needed option (at least with mysql, curl, sockets)
-make

But don't launch make install.
You can find the binary in "yourphpfolder/sapi/cli/".
Works great for me using the correct (new) path with ManiaLive.
