I believe you can't do that, once created login stays that way and it's impossible to change it I'm afraid, at least that was the case with Forever

Thank you for your post!

However this does not work for me. I have allowed Maniaplanet through my firewall (see here) and yet I just get the error when I try to create my account with the same username and password (Which are correct as you can see I was able to register with it here).

Any ideas?

Edit: Despite the game telling me it could not create my account, it has been created and I have just received an email. Perhaps it's a bug? Thanks anyway...

Hello everyone,

For those who want to use their TMUF login with your TM² account, you have to follow these steps:

Launch the game (oh really :roflol: )

so I can't use, for ex., "space" as login, because it was already used by another person in TMF?

That's right, all the logins used on TMUF are reserved to the owner.

Well it wouldn't be THAT hard to transfer logins data from TMUF databases to TM2.

No, that's nice and considerate of Nadeo towards the players that like to keep the same login.

It would be pretty dumb to prefill a database with tens or hundreds of thousands of entries that may never be used if those pertaining players choose not to purchase TM². Also, the account data is not necessarily compatible between the two databases, we know nothing about their backend, and don't need to either as it's Nadeo's business.

Given the technical and practical ramifications, Nadeo offered a good solution without making things needlessly complex for the players and themselves.

If they are really in different formats, data entries can be transformed anyway using a specifically created program which could translate between two types of formats. But yeah I get your point it's additional work that isn't really that needed, but it would have been nice.

I would at least like some way to link the two accounts...
