[Ladder] Possible Ladder

I still don't see why we can't just have a ladder where you win points for beating people and lose pinjts for losing to people, based on the level of the other drivers of course. Beating a high ranked players gains you more points than you would lose losing to a noob like me

OK, you'd get the super Zooz pros at the top all the time, but isn't that the point of a ladder, the best players would be at the top? Doesn't really mean very much otherwise, does it?

Yeah Boumsong's Ladder idea is the perfect ladder,I think this will be the one.
Because nadeo said that we will never see good'ol'ladder again.

There are a lot of stunts players who are obviously good at the mode they have chosen to play but don't really get to show it. Would be nice for them to have a ladder to battle it out on too.

I quite like the idea of a weekly or monthly ladder, as opposed to one that runs forever - and maybe there could be a hall of fame worked out on a players average ranking in the weekly/monthly ladder.

If there was better integration of the tournament and league scene in maniaplanet, it would be much easier to give a higher profile to the best players - if that's what they want

What about making a monthly ladder?
Then save the rank of all players and set all players to the same amount of points and start the ladder for the new month. And do a rank/per month average into the player profil, so you get two ranks.
Rank of the actual month
Average of the previous months? (Hall of fame?)
You could also show the best rank the player had in his racing career, to give a motivation to race the ladder each month, till you get in the top 10 ^^
This gives also a possibilty to allow new players to fight for the top places in the ladder.

Yeah...stunts servers seem to be few and far between...but stunts players are often quite good...

I think the TMU ladder was the best one so far (until it was ruined by LOL servers). The daily loosing of points and the visible individual enviroment rank were great. Perhaps combined that with ranked servers like we have now, and that would be a good combination. But what ever they do, DO NOT have a timed restricted system for 100k like it is now. Especially considering a potential greater global market via ubisoft distribution.
Of the other suggestions mentioned, i like the idea of no online ladder, and only using solo to determine rank. Enhance this idea and have a set of official tracks and use only those tracks only to determine rank wether online or offline. And new official tracks could be added to this set every month.
