Dont call the map 'CarsCommon' but 'CarCommon'

The directions worked for me, used the stadium v2 linked elsewhere. Lights dont work but I can deal with that for the beta.

I finally got it to work for me.

Documents/ManiaPlanet/Skins/Vehicles/CarCommon/carname.zip

Then go into Editors in the menu. Select Manage Packs. Click Add. Find carname.zip and it will authenticate your ID. Voila!

Two Problems:

The game now crashes halfway through the loading bar/splash screen everytime I use my "in-game painted" model.

The second problem is that when I use the plain custom model without the paint job it screws with my camera. As I leave the Start blocks the camera swings underneath the road. When I change cameras it stays proper on a few of them, but does it again if I have to respawn.

When I get the "Unable to register pack: This maniacredited package has already been added" problem, going out of the "manage packs" page and back into it seems to work for me.

Edit: the cars drive just fine, but the suspension is totally static on all of them. Question is: does this mean it has to be setup in a different way in 3dsmax for TM2, or is the suspension simply not added yet or taken into account, as none of the canyon cars got visible suspension parts?

And of course they got no shadow, so seems there's something missing from the projshad info too.

Many of the cars need to be updated yes, the 3d system of the cars is a bit different and we at Carpark haven't yet managed to understand it fully, still waiting for info from Damien (Nadeo)

Ok just discovered another weird looking thing. A couple of the models actually emit brake-lights from the wheel-area. How bizarre is that ^^

Thanks for the info, NGcs :thumbsup: Eagerly awaiting some form of tutorial/info.
Just hope it will be in english for everyone to understand :yes:

Put the ZIP files into Documents/Maniaplanet/Skins/Vehicles/CanyonCar
Some of them don't really work. :?
