There are enough bugs which could be fixed in a patch, if they don't test the patch before release, I am sure there will be bugs in the final release versiondjthom wrote:patch for what? u don't just make a pach, it needs a reason^^frizbee_ wrote:Any news for a patch before the release on 14th sept ?

Re: TrackMania2: Centralised News about the Game
The reason for beta testing is to find and fix the bugs before a final release. I'm sure that's what they will do.

Interesting is performance will be more cool than now? I'm about fps mostly, sometimes fps suddenly getting low! Maybe some one has that problem either?

News article in gameplanet
This looks like a new-ish article--it's got the new trailer, at least...but the part that made me want to post it was here...

ROFLMAO either the writer's been reading the forums, talking to people on here, or has a psychic sense for it...gameplanet wrote:Part of this increased speed is down to the lack of penalty applied to drifting. In a contentious gamble, drifting is now a crucial gameplay mechanic, rather than something generally avoided in TrackMania Nations Forever. As there is no appreciable reduction in speed whilst going sideways, accurately plotting the entry and exit points to sharp corners, tapping the break and balancing the vehicle carefully will, in most cases, yield the fastest time. Purists won't like it a bit, but there is a kind of guilty satisfaction in perfecting this technique.
