[FIXED] - [TM2] - MasterServer down

Hello, i just downloaded trackmania 2 and trying to make a new account.

When i'm asked to choose region i get a please wait message. A minute or so I get a
"Cannot connect to the server (12002)" Message.

I'm using windows 7 64.

Had logged in received 100 planets, tried to connect to where my Buddy was but no connection response, played 2 tracks on a LOL server to check everything was OK, logged out tried to reconnect threw Buddy with same results only this time the game froze to the point where even ALT F4 would not work, ended task in task manager restarted TM2, now can not connect to the server (12002) when attempting to log back in.
as above im running windows 7 64bit

Is the master server down for maintenance or have i hit some bug?

I searched the error for 30 minutes in the topic fr tm forum etc! I thought that someone had stopped my login! i rebot router, restart PC etc.)

@ topic i also was wandering whats going on, wanted to test a new plugin , but cannot connect to my own testserver -.-
wouldnt it be wise to put a global sticky about masterserver ?

I was thinking about this solution, need to contact Nadeo before of course

yeah, something like the heartbeat that skype uses would be great to quickly check if the master server is online or not.
If you dont know what im talking about:
http://heartbeat.skype.com/

There you can check if skype is online and stuff, a page like that for the masterserver status would be great.
