CrossFire in ManiaPlanet is supported by recent drivers, yet only with D3D9 api (not D3D9Ex).
To play with CrossFire enabled do the following point:
Go to Launcher/Configure/Advanced/Compatibility/
Disable (uncheck) the "Enable D3D9Ex" checkbox.
