[CLOSED] [TM2] Install problems

Hey guys, so finnaly TM2 came out and now when i'm trying to install it, it freezes after a couple of seconds. I have tried alot of different downloads including the download manager. but they all seem to freeze.
Help is really really appreciated.

Can you give the size of your setup and the configuration of your computer?

Sure the setup well theres one of 1mb and there is one of 1gb.
about configuration, what do you mean with that? like directX, Operations System etc.?

I'm having the same problem. The installer is freezing at the TMCanyon.pak file. My specs are below.

The bin file is 1.1gb from the manual download. The downloader downloaded a different file which was 943mb and was corrupt.

Windows 7 32bit Ultimate
Pentium D 3.0ghz
3gb DDR2 ram
ATI Radeon HD3870

I've tried this on 2 harddrives as well.

I have the same problem. I just bought the game, installed the 2 files directly from the link provided to me

maniaplanetcanyon_setup.exe (1.111Kb)
maniaplanetcanyon_setub-1.bin (1.151.980 kb)

As soon as the instal proces begins.. everything stops working and i need to put up my taskmanager to shut it down.

I dont think its my pc as its an high end gaming pc. windows 7 64 bit aswel.

maybe something usefull: the .bin file my pc recognise to launch with vlc media player.. any other suggestions as i dont think that is correct.

Thats the exact same what is happening to me little lazy to explain all details^^.

Please try to install in administrator and wait maybe a few minutes if the freeze stop.

tried as administrator and waited a while but as soon as i run the setup file it immediatly say: not responding. Trying to download a new bin file now as maybe it could be corrupted as of the big filesize.

edit: it says not responding as soon as the installing is starting, not when you need to sellect different instal options etc

I tried at as administrator and win capability mode and it's still freezing.

If you have anti virus software running, it has to check the files, this is why your system is freezing for some while.
Or does it never respond again?
Check hard disk drive access lights and cpu usage...
