I am having the same issue. Every time I respawn, the view changes back to default.

yes this is extremely annoying! If I change my view I expect it to remain there! >:|

Re: Problems changing view in TM2
Did you try to change the view with the numpad keys? It only does reset when the key assigned to "change view/camera" is used.

Re: Problems changing view in TM2
I'm thinking this could be a legit issue--given the fact that these people sound like they're using views other than the default (cam 1), and as such, this could be some sort of bug...

Hmm, changing the view using the keypad seems to cause the view to stay where you want it. Using the generic 'change view' hotkey causes the camera to reset.
Re: Problems changing view in TM2
Are you changing it with your gamepad? The same thing happened to me, i changed it one time with the keyboard and since then it jumped back to that cam each respawn after i haf changed it with my gamepad. So i always changed the cam with the gamepad, but it still jumped back. Now i tried changing the cam with the keyboard and now it works correctly

Re: Problems changing view in TM2
a buddy had the same problem..
after the release update the controls were changed and the buddy complained about changing cams during the race..it seems that the switch camera command was assigned to his pad..dunno which button it was but he pressed it during the race unknowingly...maybe its the same for you...check your controls whether there is a button of the pad assigned which shouldnt

Re: Problems changing view in TM2
(See the next post on page 2 for a fix.)
Its true that the camera defaults back every time after the finishing... for the most part.
It had stopped changing for a little while as I kept hitting the change view key from habit - which then was the wrong view. But it has since been happening again for a while now.
It was the same in the beta and is still the same now.
I have been unable to find a way to get it to stay. Not that I've tried much.
Edit: Even with num lock off the game still allows use of those buttons.
