I've never given a damn about the Nadeo ladder, to me it's just ridiculous, I've been in the top one thousand a few times, (this is easy to achieve if you have the time and insanity to no-life high points rounds servers) and I'm a truly awful TM player.
The Medals I always found were fun, comparing your tally to people in your buddy list or country, again, that's probably a no-life equation
So I loaded up Canyon and started doing runs to collect medals, then I noticed the try in official mode thing, now the whole Skill Points idea never really caught my imagination but then when I began to understood the oft discussed timer for official runs, I thought, god that's such a freakin' awful system, I'll have to have a go at that.
But it seems, I'm only allowed to try for an official time on maps where I have already achieved the gold medal.
Is my reading of this correct?
(I'll await confirmation that I'm reading this right before I post any further on the matter, who knows, maybe I'm wrong and it's just a bug either at my end or something to do with the master server etc.).
