[TM2] Cannot create ManiaPlanet accout - NOT BETA PROBLEM!

I bought TM 2 Canyon today and got the email a few minutes after purchase from support.maniaplanet.de@gamesplanet.com

When trying to create an account i get the following error message:



What is the "login"?
I tried a different username -> same error
I tried a different password -> same error
I tried a different password AND username -> same error

Additionally, i can't even retrieve my TM:Nations/Forever account because my email address does not fit into the specified field? Of course i altered my email address to a test string of the same length. My email is NOT test123test123tes@gmail.com ..



Can anyone help?

When you want to create an account on Maniaplanet, all the TMUF (and not TMNF) logins/username are reserved.
So the login you want has been already reserved on TMUF that's why you can't take it.

I really doubt that. If that's the case however, please suggest me a free username because i cannot seem to find one. All of the usernames above prompt the same error message.

The thing is, i bought the game and i CANNOT play it. The normal installer hangs during installation and the light installer doesn't let me download/play the game without an account. An account I CANNOT CREATE!

Is there a website where i can try creating the account from outside the game?

Unfortunally, this doesn't work either. I get the same error message and cant register an account. Also i can't play the game as it needs to go online with an account once. Should i ask for a refund until things are resolved?

I have the exact same problem, getting the exact same Error message. You're not alone brother!

I have no idea how to solves this tho ... i haven't got to play the game yet.

I assume you mean this:

1) You can try to create your account on another computer. Then you should be able to play from any computer, by binding a new profile to your created account.
2) You can also wait few hours/a day and you sould be able to create an account.
3) You can try to follow these instructions. If you do so, you can enable the option again, as soon as your account has been created.

1) I just tried that. Computer at girlfriend's flat. WinXP (as opposed to win7 at home). Completely different hardware. Different ISP. It still doesn't work and i am getting the exact same error message.
2) Last time it tried it was yesterday approx 1-2 p.m. ... it has been ~25 hours since then.
3) Even though i am on WinXP i tried disabling the check for server certificate revocation. Still getting the same error.
