[TM2] Crashes - Game Locks Up

I constantly, although seemingly random, have my game lock up on me during Game-play and becomes Not Responding(Screen freezes, Audio Loops) Which in turn generally requires me to end process via the Task Manager. I have tried changing up the graphics settings numerous times, in various combinations such as Low Resolution, Minimal Settings, and Windowed Mode.

Athlon II X2 250 Proccessor
Nvidia GTX 260 - With latest Drivers
4GB RAM
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Edit - I have also noticed an occasional stutter that tends to look like a crash but then recovers after a second or two.
