What are the meanings of Racetypes like LoL, Mini, Tech, etc

Post by echo4hhsm »

Can someone give me a link or an explanation to the known Race Subcathegories?
What are the diffrences between Lol, Mini, Tech, Fullspeed, RPG?
And are there even more known Types?
When is a track Tech and Fullspeed and when is Tech only Tech?
What Type of Track could it be when you have to hit a wall in order to reach a higher platform?

i'm not sure but i looked on youtube and i guessed that tech means technical and requires you to play the track a couple of times to know the route before you can race it properly, whereas "Race" you would be able to finish it first time without a problem.

That's what i guessed anyway, could be entirely wrong.

Because of the higher amout pf examples from tmnf, ill use tmnf vids as example :)

Tech has tight corners, many slides http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJYL2nqC ... re=related

RPGs are story tracks, in where you can play a role in the story of the track. These are usually platform tracks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3rNB3io ... re=related

LOL tracks are almost the same with RPG, but usually very short ones, and these have no story http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvyc60I-Ork (these are hard ones, but usually they are much easier, however needs luck. Good for killing time and having fun^^

Fullspeed tracks: tracks which need max speed. You can press the forward button until the finish and you dont need to brake. These kind of tracks use many turbos, wallrides, loops, jumps and speed :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7FEdxW_ ... re=related

Speedtech: they are like tech tracks, but with higher speed and longer slides, maybe some FS elements. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSfkdiYd ... re=related

Minis are usually techs or speedtechs, max aroudns 30 sec length.
