[TM2] Problem with install

I also have problems with this. I also had problems registering for the forum. Really retarded that the fix has to be PM'ed instead of just posting it public. Hit me please.

SO....I'm back here again. Tried everything suggested and more. I've got it installed despite installer crashing and never seeming to finish.

I can get into the front end, input my CD Key and create an account.

Then compulsory update starts.

File 1 of 8....

File 1 gets to 100%, hangs for a while, then ??? appear in the size of the next file. Eventually game flashes up error saying "This title is not playable" and I'm left being visually tormented with the GUI options to start a game but they are not available and I'm left listening to the game music which now signifies a feeling of deep depression.

Please HELP ME!!!

So when you install the 1,2gb file, try to launch maniplanetLauncher.exe or maniaplanet.exe (try both) as Administrator (Right click => Run as Administrator).
Tell us if it works or not.

I've tried that, but it's asking for a password - my normal log in password is not working, so I have no idea what password it wants! I have admin rights on my account, can I trick it by creating a new blank administrator account? Any other ways around this, is there a known default password (would seem crazy if there was)!!?? Leaving it blank also doesn;t work....
