Official time?

How do you get an official time in singleplayer?

When you finish a map, you click on improve, then you get a message if you want to play Official or continue practice

And you can retry every 5minutes or what? In previous TM games you had to pay coopers every time I think, now it seems free?

That's right, every 5 minutes, you can try an official race... And it is for free...
