How do I buy more building pieces?

The track editor in TrackMania 2 seems not have a lot of building blocks to build with (that I've seen lots of other tracks use). How do I get these building blocks/buy them? I've heard you have to use a currency called "planets", where can I find these and how do I use them?

Do you use a simple or an advanced map editor? If an advanced there are all blocks.

How do I make a racing track with fences on both sides then? Can't seem to figure it out, I can only do the ones with roofs on top.

No I meant the 1-1-1 block

Depends on what you call a "fence".

- The long 2x6 road piece with the slight kink in it comes with fences and utility poles.
- Separate metal wireframe fences are available in the scenery section but they take up a whole block.
- If you build any road piece above ground level, it gets flat and grows crash barriers.
