Problem with connection to MasterServer.

Why everyone crying over the existence or non-existence of a UPS? The server "crashed", and a power outage isn't the only cause of a server crash, indeed from the wording of the announcement it sounds like it crashed and they were unable to reboot the server due to the power outage.

A UPS would've been useless anyway, as they're designed to ensure data integrity by allowing them to shut-down before the power is completely lost, and no company in their right mind would pay millions for a UPS that could sustain servers & necessary utilities on the off chance that they'd need to, rather pay for a small one that allows the server to be shut down safely and wait for the power to be restored.

the servers will be back online when they're back online.

The only thing I will say is that I do believe the authentication should be done on a separate server to allow the single player to still be used if the master server is down for a prolonged period of time.

Wait an official annoucement from Nadeo it will be better for everybody. Because if everybody connect at the same time, it could make another crash and you could have some error.

however, we got not the propised final, it´s still beta.

I don't want my money back, I just want to play. I'm mostly just pissed cause they were happy to accept my money without any warning that I couldn't just download and play right now. That I can't even play offline is ruder still.

First we had a blackout in the area, the team continued to work but two hours later, one online server went down and made the maniaplanet ones not responding. It happened just after our local power relay was out so we moved to another place to work and put the server on. In many years, we did not experienced offline time for so long many times, maybe one or two. It is linked to the use of new technology, so I expect this to stabilize with time going on.
