[Split Screen] "Time Attack" mode is missing!

I bought Trackmania2 mainly for the 4 player split screen functionality.

I was surprised to find that the "Time Attack" mode was not supported in split screen.

I'm reluctant to introduce the game to some friends in split screen since I know that the mode that's in there now is only fun for the best player(s). The round resets shortly after the first person crosses the finish line so noobs don't stand a chance to even finish certain tracks.

The end result will be that they'll think the game sucks and definately won't go home and buy it, which is quite sad cuz it is a kick ass game. (Would be even better with more loops and wallrides.)

PLEASE add "Time Attack" to split screen!

Maybe they assumed that when people race splitscreen they like to feel like they're actually racing and not just trying to set times.

Hotseat mode (with the turn-taking) was already made for time attacks and it's really fun as long as you have the patience to wait for your turn.

I think waiting for your turn in Hotseat is a viable option if you don't have 2 or more controllers, have a tiny screen or very low system specs. Otherwise I'd choose split screen over hotseat any day simply because racing live against other oponents is more fun than waiting for your turn. (Especially if you have more than 2 players.)

What you wrote may be an explanation to why Nadeo initially didn't prioritize Time Attack in split screen but as time progresses I still think Time Attack (and other game modes) should be added.

Split screen is comparable to having a server with up to 4 players in it, so any game mode that is fun with 4 players on a server should exist in split screen mode. Time Attack is fun with 4 players and should exist in split screen.

To be honest, I was shocked and disappointed when I discovered that Trackmania's most popular game mode wasn't supported in split screen when I bought the game.
