Can't run TM2 after optional update

I can't play TM2 suddenly anymore after having been able to without issue since release up until now.. When I try to start it up I get this error box:

DirectX 9.0 initialisation failed
Line 1853 CreateDevice: D3DERR_DEVICELOST
Please check to make sure that you have the latest version of DirectX installed


Nothing has changed, no directx updates or anything.. wtf?

Maybe try to reinstall your DirectX?

Eh I rebooted and it works now. I saw a bunch of doom2 crap flash all over my screen when i rebooted, makes me think something was conflicting with it from an earlier doom2 session.. Thats what i get for playing such ancient stuff :p
