I'm discussing it with him on Skype.
After a long discussion with eyebo.
It's completely ok to dislike the idea of such a project. But picking on one person who did such a project simply is not fair/rational and is just mean

Yes, this is true.metoxys wrote:It's completely ok to dislike the idea of such a project. But picking on one person who did such a project simply is not fair/rational and is just mean
You should pick on everyone who has ever done such a project.
You can start with BlackShark I guess?

The video is good but the track just doesnt fit as good as the tracks from all those other k projects which were specially designed for it.
You also should consider posting the link in your first post, I dont think many people want to search through all these pages^^

The track... well, okay. Nadeo track after all. And a Nadeo guy suggested this project^^Keras wrote:The video is good but the track just doesnt fit as good as the tracks from all those other k projects which were specially designed for it.

Re: Kilo Project! A08 (Video is up!)
I really like the vid.
You might call it "spamming cars" but it fits the track (and music) perfectly.
The only thing I didn't like was some people contributed too many replays. (A lot of the same cars, esspecially that plain gray one)
Maybe you should put a limit to replays per person next time so there is more diversity

The car skin can be changed in the editor per ghost, so that's kind a moot point. The problem is, you'd have to go through and change all of them. The older K projects actually had all the cars the same skin, which makes them blend more. So if anything maybe they all needed to be the same skin.

I think a track built to let the cars flow, jump, diverge and rejoin would look better. However, there is no doubting that you chose your camera angles very well to make A08 look its best, and then spent a lot of time rendering the video. So big kudos for that.
