[ESL] Send us your maps!

Post by Chris92 »

Some time ago we introduced the new Trackmania² Canyon section. Now we need your maps! Please send us your maps you've created to let us use them in our cups&ladders.
It is a new game, so we need new maps for each style - that's why we don't ask for a specific mapstyle, just create maps and sort it in a possible mapstyle (e.g. Speedtech, Competition or Minimaps). Make sure that you send just one Map in one E-Mail - so it is easier to sort them. After we recieved your maps, we will take a look and rate them.

Image What are the requirements for your Tracks?

Code: Select all

- Mapname: "ESL- 'THETRACKSNAME' " use what you want for 'THETRACKSNAME'
- no special signs in the name
- length: 30 - 65 seconds (depends on your mapstyle)
- use of ESL Signs
- the tracks are not uploaded anywhere
- Blockmixing is allowed, if it does not produce graphical glitches or driving bugs
- GPS is allowed, but only with a fake finish
- Intros & Outros are forbidden
- the scenery is up to you (make sure it doesn't produce lags or lighting problems)
- the tracks were not used in any competition before
- the tracks are just known by yourself
Send the maps, together with a replay(!),to the following email address:
tm2.maps@staff.esl.eu

Please use the following style for your mail subject.
"Maps - STYLE- *your nickname*", else your mail may be missed. Remember just to send one map in one E-Mail!

The deadline for sending maps is the 31st of September.

Thanks in advance for all submissions!

Gogo mappers :) let's get this started so we can get some competition going!
I would't hate anyone for making a bit of tech ;)

As I see no obvious link in the info, where can the ESL Signs or sign pack be located?

Ahh ffs... I will re-upload the Signs immediately. The problem is all tracebacks from other sites than the ESL are blocked on this FTP server... So either you copy the URL and open it directly or you try this link: http://85.114.136.249/tm2/ESL_SignsAdverts.zip

Is it ok if I use 67 sec to drive the map? I believe the pros will go under 65 sec :P
