You can install the game on any computer you want but if you wish to play with another person at the same time online or offline (with splitscreen for example), you have to buy a new key.

Really? I could play split screen just fine with my sister in Local play. o_O;

And then I upgraded to an SSD. My CD key stopped working so I contacted support. They told me to buy a new one.

If you had a payment issue, you should had received a refund normally

I did not have a payment issue. Notice I had the game for two days. They did not refund my money, the key stopped working, and they told me to buy a new one.

Have you tried copying just your profile from your previous HDD to your new install. Should not need to use your key again, it's already linked to your online account.

I cloned my old drive to the new one.
