Battle Points!!

I post in tm forum, but said me to be here


I think woud be great if ing game you can challange someone to a track, and if you win to get battle points, similar to LP points as tm If you challange strong player and win, get more battle points and if you challange weak and loose, you loose a lot of battle points.

what you think?

It smell like the TMS ladder system. This could be a great alternative ladder, pretty fun and addictive if well used

why not have the 2 systems ?
LP for general ladder
And BP (not for ecology... bad joke) if you challenge somebody on the server (he must accept too)
But they must limit the number of challenges per day or week. So the players who just want to do some levelling won't be able to do it. And the BP ladder will not be a piece of crap.
You also can have lot of "sort by" when you want to see classment. like the soccer

Definately a cool thing.

Maybe you could add a Checkbox whether you wanna participate in battel ladder or not; else someone who just wanna play for a bit of fun may be challenged some times and get into negative stats which just looks not nice^^ (or if 0 is the lowest possible he is bothered with request popups :/ )

I don`t understand all think you sayd, but i think you`re right...

When someone challange you, you`ll have massage for that. There is the button accsept. In the msg you`ll have the date and the server (made from the player who challange you). If he don`t make the server and you don`t start, he will loose points. Also in the messege will be the password, and specific code, which register you to the battle system when the battle start. Messege sample:

Server: (BP mach) sAo vs. VAN
Pass: 99hp05
Date 19.09.2011
19:00 O`clock
Key:75100 (remmember the key)

Server:
Rounds (4)
Map: Some track

Accsept | Cansel

When it`s 19:00 you`ll be ask to enter the code. You`ll have 1 minute for that, after the minute end, the mach will be off, and you`ll loose some battlepoints. Same for the other person.

I like the idea of battlepoints, but it shouldn't be something like you said sao_9.
I'd prefer it way more spontaneous.
So if you want to match someone "now", you shouldn't wait very long.
As Neogeronimo wrote it could be on a server, where you ask any person to make a battle right now.

Or an other option is, that you klick on a "find battle"-button in menu. Then it should search for others, who wants to battle at this moment and then you'll automatically join with the person on any server
