Importing .Mp3

What has always bugged me is that in TrackMania, you can only import .OGG files into your tracks. A small thing would be the ability to import music with the .MP3 extension.

mp3 encoding/decoding needs a licence if i remember well.
So Nadeo will have to pay for that option, which of course will make the games more expensive....
I agree that it is extra work for us, but you gain money with it

they used MP3 in TMO bu then OGG came after, i don't mind OGG but then it is a pain to work with

I dint like the converter being built into the help options and its limitations..... you couldn't re tag the infos and it was placed randomly into the installation folder where you would have to hunt it down amongst other songs

I don't mid to stay with OGG but i hope that this time the converter could remain separate with the ability to specify its destination and the ability to tag all the info's relating to the songs.....

not to get too complicated.... but the ability to FTP and auto generate .locs from the converter would be useful too
