Hi!

First of all:
English isn't my native language and i am not a developer or pro so i am just an interested user and i am runing a hosted TM2-Server.

May i ask if the TAB-Problem is solved in this version which exists if the Widget "Alternate Scoretable" is installed? (If you know what i mean -> If "Alternate Scoretable" is installed, its not possible to use the TAB to see who is playing at the moment or - and this is the important part for me - to rightclick the users to spec them)

If this bug is not solved yet, is there any plan or date when it maybe will be solved?

its a problem of the developer of the plugin...

The Alternate ScoreTable overruled the part of the original TAB so you should contact the developer of the plugin which i believe is undef.de

As much as i know (i already talked to him) he already tried everything to enable the regular TAB again even if his widget is runing. But thank you. I will contact him!

Just a quick note:
now that the client update is available to test ( http://forum.maniaplanet.com/viewtopic.php?f=293&t=7213 ) , the following bugs should be fixed when using latest server and latest client:
* the custom ui bug (that you couldn't show parts of the ui previously hidden)
* the cup sequence wrt to showing the score table should now be the same as other modes.
* ForceSpectator...() should now work better.

I don't know exactly how he does it, bug maybe the "custom ui" bug fix can solve the issue?

To be able to show a custom scoretable when pressing TAB, it would need to receive events when TAB is pressed and released, so i guess no.

Well... perhaps that maniascripts would permit to get key events to show/hide the table, but i don't know if anyone have tested such thing on online manilinks. So perhaps it would be possible, perhaps not.

Anyway, with custom_ui fixed, at least it should be possible to enable the classic scoreboard during the map, then disable it just for the podium while showing the alternate scoreboard.

So... ask the author of the alternate scoreboard plugin to try to handle it better

I think thats exactly what undef.de wants for his plugin, i think the regular score/playertable should be shown by pressing TAB during the race, the alternative scoretable should only be shown at the end of the track, i think...

I have already sent him a message and wait for his response...

I just disable the scoretable at the event onSync. In TMF there was no problem, because the Player can press TAB to see the automatic scoretable. And it does not popup in Score or at the end of Race.

In TM2 it is now completely off, TAB does not display the automatic scoretable, never ever.

If have tried to disable the automatic scoretable only when my one are to see and allow the automatic scoretable after that. This did not do the trick, because sometimes TAB display the automatic scoretable and sometimes not... but therefor i did not finished my tests...

I wish you the best of luck for your testing and solving of those problems. I am not into that stuff so i can sadly not help you very much, but maybe you get help from other guys or even nadeo in here

btw: does anyone know when nadeo exactly plans to bring this client-update live?
