multiple issues

hi i have posted a few times on a few of my problems with TM2

i have frames per second issues it goes from around 100 down to around 14 frames then lagometer time and i have a mid ranged gaming computer!!!
i cant even get / download the optional update on my player.mania account and it will not show up ingame at all for download ?
i have to run my game in low definition and low settings when 2 3 weeks ago i had non of these problems and was able to run my game in high definition and max settings with no lag and frames per second issues ?

if some one can help me with my issues with the game TM2 Canyon would be most awesome i really would like to play and i cant thanks !!!!

the optional update can only be switched on in maniaplanet player page, but it gets downloaded and installed automatically.

which kind of PC do you have, and which windows version is installed?
especially Vista and Win7 tend to run many things in background, e.g. defragmentation, virus scan, windows update downloads etc, which migh temporarily affect gamiung performance.
It also depends on the maps you are currently playing.
