I'll say no because I'll buy it either way.
I know it'll be good, because it's a Nadeo game.

To be honest, I think most people who want to try a game before buying it... pirate it first (doesn't make it right... but yeah... it's what people do). Does anyone actually use demos anymore? That seems like a relic of the 90s.

1. Congratz on being the 2nd No voter
2. When I redownloaded Steam a few months ago I checked for free content (lololo) and I checked out a few demos there since I found them at Steam. (checking the demos to see how stable the game would run, if the graphics are all right, if the gameplay is good, if I'd arrrr/buy it)

It's only 20€, like don't drink on one party and there you have it.
A little preview is always good. Like screenshots or video material of live gameplay, preview versions, demos, betas

1. nice double post
2. We got screen shots and will get video material till the beta/release version of the game.

3. And you can get all the infos you need out of the internet, like minimum pc requirements and so on. And as it was told, SM will run okay if TM² runs okay. There is nothing more you need to know.

I guess it might work like with the TM² beta, where you could buy a pre-order version where you had access to the beta version.

In most cases my laptop also goes over the "recommended" state but I still want to know how it will run on higher graphics.

Well of course I want a demo. On one level, it means I get to try the game earlier. Which is why I raced for the 'yes' button like it was a StupidBetaGame

However if something like this forced Hylis to spend less time on the final, perfected copy of the game, then I'll be patient. Good things come to those who wait, as they say 8-)

Yes, but then it also depends on how well optimized the game itself is...and how accurate those system requirements actually -are-...

I voted no for the same reasons of eyebo  20€ isn't so expensive "for me" and I think the futur is to have team/community linked in all nadeo stuff.

The question is, (and I think Hylis had a sentence on it on the pgw live demo), as TM, will SM have differents gameplays?
Coz it make a big difference, we're used to have many different gameplays with united, bur for a FPS???
How can this be possible and construtive in a FPS?
Mods, maps, kind of mission all this stuff will be build by maniascript and the community, the next SM will just be new enviro?

I will replay the live demo by Hylis searching for the exacts word he said...

i also voted no to a demo, reason is the fact al lot of maniaplanet stuff is "in the cloud" which would really look bad in a stripped environment. although i think an open beta would be a good idea.
