Re: [Scenery] Rubbish!
First off, it was shown in the "Centralized news about TM2" thread that although it has been considered to add collisions in TM, at the moment, Hylis put the nix on that. So you can rest easy, teku.
And as for waterfalls not equaling rubbish, look at the thread content. We're not -just- talking about dust and dirt and things...it's about -effects-. Like water splashing off your car if you drive -under- a waterfall.

Re: [Scenery] Rubbish!
But when is the release of TM²? The exactly release date.
I saw at some other topics at a other forum, it will be June or July 2011...

There is no exact releasedate till now.
I guess it'll be in q1 of 2011 or in the early of q2 2011. But I think also Nadeo doesn't know the exact date.
The typical sentence for the game industry: "when it's done!"

Re: [Scenery] Rubbish!
TMUF is bigger then TMNF. I heared from thrusted people, that Ubisoft AND Nadeo working to make the graphic value as big as the graphic value of TMNF, but the visual will be the same as you saw at the announcement.Romain42 wrote: I think it could be really annoying for those (like me) who have not the best connection. I am actually far from the 56k (about 1M), but it takes sometimes lots of time to load a big map. Already with TMUF, it comes quite frustrating when you have to wait 4 minutes, then play 3 minutes, and so on. Bypassing or skipping a track would be even more frustrating imo.
Maybe i'm misunderstanding... But i guess, if the rubbish is immaterial (i mean, like ghost/opposite cars, what you suggested in your first post by "nothing to affect the car"), we could have a default rubbish that would replace the home-made rubbish when it can't be loaded on time ?

Re: [Scenery] Rubbish!
I think, if I understand what you're saying, scottyboy, is something that's been said by Hylis in previous posts: Something to the effect of that while TM2's graphics could be cranked up to the level you see in the video, they could also be watered down to something that looked like TMN on bare minimum settings. The original TMN is still really fun, BTW.
But anyhow, that'll be really good for guys like me with an old-ass rig that would take a day and a half to shoot a video.
