I think if some new block will be added, and phisyc change on parabolic and loop (with less shake) players will remain more time on the game to see 3000 Online and to go over and over.
Now there is a problem, you play for 2 weeks, and you discover all of the game. So you give out.
Into my side i do something, with coding, but we need the custom block or something different.
I think if we arrive to Crhristmas in this way, on January TM will be with no players (December is when all great games come out).
So Nadeo, please, keep someone to code updates for TM.

I mean:
- Server Name with no skill description (challenger, beginner), put a icons64x64_1 (maybe the badge one)
- Change the server list
- Give updates on blocks regularly or make the custom block possible
- Music ingame Volume (distorsion bug) like in TMU

This last will give new life to the game until SM and ManiaPlanet 2 come out.

Note: Each server counts as 1 player. There are usually 80 pages of servers... with 11 servers per page = 880 fake players online....

Well not fake, but accounts counted that must not be counted.

Not sure what happening at my end of the line. I go on to play a game, I adjust my server view so I can see the 'World' servers .... and find theres's less that 200 players online on the 800+ servers .... Result = I leave TM2 and return to TMUF :? :(

Not to rain on anybody's parade, but no surprise there. Complacent Gamer Syndrome, people. Especially in a down economy, what's the first thing to go? "Extras". Like games.

But here's the thing. Yes, Maniaplanet, all told, is going to have a fairly hefty price tag, for all 9 environments. But it's only a few people, relatively speaking, that will buy all 9. I know I will, because I want to support Nadeo financially, and I'm a big Mania-nut :P But when SM comes out, how many people do you think are just going to buy that? And not any of the TMs? Because they're shooter-nuts, but they don't go so much for the racing? So there's that. And dedicated RPGers will drool over QM, but not either of the others. And already, some people that I've talked to are comparing TM to "Forza, but cooler". :P So we'll have some people that buy subsets, and then, to get even more specialized, specific environments within those three games. For example, a gamer might like Canyon and SM Storm, but not buy any other environments. So, there are lots of ways for gamers to get a specialized experience tailored to them for a very reasonable price. Also, a bit off-topic, but something I just thought of: Maniaplanet is a bit like TMU, in a sense. Instead of releasing everything at once, like they did with the previous TMs, they've got all of the new Maniaplanet titles under the Maniaplanet engine, which is going to be tweaked and upgraded with the release of each game. So, if I'm right in my (limited) perceptions, Maniaplanet may be the true "Forever", because it will be able to be upgraded and added on to indefinitely. :)

Except once valley is released, owning only canyon is going to be pointless. In the end, just for TM2 the total cost will be €60.

If the € still exists at that point and hasn't inflated to Weimar levels, that is. The world really has more important things to worry about than video games (like say your government defaulting) and anyone spending more than a few €/$ on a game or more than €/$500 on a PC is retarded.

For that matter, your employer paying you however much you earn for however little work you do is also retarded. Expect wage drops for anyone who doesn't make millions for his company to about €2/day to match countries where workers are paid as much as their labour is worth. Don't worry, they'll start making cheaper PCs with older tech and "iMoc" style clones. Video games however are going to be a hobby for the rich kids over in the walled community.

Enjoy your race! :D

I dont dont know about anyone else however in regards to this drivel I wonder what planet you are from. I play games mainly to unwind or to relax and have fun however you obviously just like to whinge, complain or just make a nuisance of yourself. People are just expressing an opinion of the game and in some parts I can understand what they are saying .

Considering how often that I end up crashing sometimes in a race I can understand the frustration as I had a break from TM2 because I was getting fed up with some of the tracks. In regards to the comments pertaining to the car handling on the narrow canyon roads I always either ping pong between barriers, crash spinout or a healthy combination of all three. Sometimes theres is even moments of wtf did I do that time.

Also in regards to how the car reacts to brushing barriers I myself have found that for some bizarre reason you brush a barricade or other obstacle at your peril because you never no wether the car will either shrug it off and keep going , spin you out , spectactulary crash and or flip you over , or bring you to a screaming stop or any and all variations of all of these.

Yes there are a lot of of bad tracks however mostly you will find that on nearly all servers the server ops will wipe them from the servers track list never to see the light of day on that server again.

I myself have made bad tracks however my number 1 pet peve is tracks that have hidiously sharp bends that you have to slam the brakes on just to get around the bend and not crash.

The main thing to rember is that it is only a game and if it is giving you the case of the brown stuff get off your behind turn off the computer and do something else. Over time things will get better just be patient
