[TM2] No sound after update

After installing the most recent patch there is no longer any sound in the game at all.
I have tried all the different audio settings in the config but nothing makes it work.
All drivers including sound card are updated.

Specs:
Windows 7 64bit
Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio
AMD Phenom II X6 1075T
8gb RAM

Have you try in other game or Media player?

Sound works in everything else except TM2.

Maybe try to reinstall the game.

I've reinstalled the game. Still no sound.

I also have sound blaster x-fi extreme card but normally I dont have sound on while playing as PC is in tv room.
I turned the sound sliders on in the game today and found that there was no sound.
I checked my configuration settings in the sound blaster control panel and apart from my front speakers being turned off ( on the speakers themselves ) everything was normal.
after turning them on I got sound from the game.
What speaker configuration do you use??
I have it set as 4.1 channel running 2 sets of speakers.. 2.1 set plugged into rear jack and another pair plugged into front jack.
it appears that TM only outputs to front speakers for me so maybe this is the same on your rig.
