Well,the sale for tm2 is (alot) higher then TMU,so it isnt a catastrophe at all,and the numbers of active players in TM2 does increase,it is atm 350-500 on normal days.

You should check the next few pages too. Since you have a pretty high rank there will be many servers with (many) players lower ranked than you and thus placed behind all servers with equal ranked players (even if it is just 1).

For an American in the Eastern time zone, what is the most active time of day to play? I've been logging on at night and there's hardly anyone online, which I find disappointing.

It would be best for you to play in the afternoon, around 1 - 2 pm, (so it would be around 7 - 8 pm in Europe) which is when most people are usually online.
