I think there's a large problem in that the main following for tm2 is definitely in Europe and so it can be expected that most of the top8 will be European. I think that the event needs to be big enough in order that people will journey out to Ohio in order to have a shot at the prizes

Tracks will be released next weekend, the prelims got pushed back one week but the site hasn't been updated yet.

Prelim maps are now LIVE! We will have our server up for practice within the next couple days if you would rather not train solo.

I want to say upon hearing about this tournament I was pretty pumped to see such an awesome tournament coming to not only my neck of the woods, but to an event I was already planning on going to.

I come here to express my frustration and anger towards the event organizers for being so unorganized in this whole endeavor. I know that planning out a tournament can be tough as I have organized PC tournaments many times in my gaming career, but I have always stayed on track and on time. If there was ever a chance that I might miss a date I made sure that I let my participants know well in advance. My friends and I that have been excited to compete have been very confused over the past week wondering where the tracks were (there was no email sent out to our registered emails or post on the event website that we had been checking daily) and what time the qualifying round would start. This is very frustrating seeing that some of us had to cancel plans/not make plans in order to make sure that we would be on just in case the qualifying would actually go on.

So in the future all I ask of you is to please update the registered participants via email as soon as changes are made, let us know well in advance of changes and not the day before, and keep the tournament page on the website up to date. Most of us don't check here or on the A&G Facebook page.

I appriciate your criticism, and understand whole-heartedly. Part of my frustration lies with the web team for the convention; I let them know a week and a half in advance to change the webpage but it was not accomplished.

Yes, part of that falls on me, but I did send an e-mail out a week before to those who were signed up, informing the competitors of the changes. There is no disorganization on my end aside from the typical hustle and bustle of keeping an event stable; I can assure you all that.

I to am a bit frustrated by this... I had all day on the 14th off work. I registered on the 7th after not seeing a time or the maps for the event thinking maybe that would be sent in a confirmation email but still never received anything until the practice server was opened a day or two ago. Now I am in a situation where it is unlikely I'll be able to flex my schedule in order to participate. Anti-Pro myself, and a few others were all planning on playing but now with such a short notice of the date change and track list, the ability of us to attend this is in question. It is simply not reasonable to expect people to be available on a certain date with a weeks notice when the date completely changes. For someone on a job that isn't able to flex out they would probably already have their schedule for the next week as well. I still have a unlikely chance to get the time off but anyone in a job where this isn't an option will be stuck.

The semi finals are scheduled for 4th so you could push those back a week and then even push this back a week to give more people adequate time to make arrangements to attend. I understand things need to be locked down before the tournament but I'd say there is some wiggle room since March 10th is the date for the finals.
