i have done 2 3d models for TMUF,
and in 3ds max (and blender i think) it can be added a object called "camera". and if they made it so that the "cameraobject", was the head of driver.
should not be much coding to make it like that.

They should have camera presets like NFS shift, with controls to move the cam form the original position if the cam is inside another part of the car(like the grill)

As above i see the camera position for the 3d model is suggested, and that would make sense for that to be the "default" view, but i was and am, of course on about user storable camera presets. That would be awesome (and very handy) to have
