Re: [TM2] Problem with install
It's weird this problem, but you lose the connection with the server in the beginning of the download or in a random moment?
Re: [TM2] Problem with install
It's pretty random. I never can guess when. Sometimes it's after 45 minutes, sometimes it's after 5 minutes. It happened when I had the full download of ~600MB and the smaller downloads of ~280MB. I just downloaded the entire iso for Windows 7 (~3GB) within two hours so I don't get problems like this elsewhere.

Re: [TM2] Problem with install
Can you try to launch the game in administrator? Deactivate firewall and antivirus and try again.
Re: [TM2] Problem with install
This is my updating message. I just tried it with Maniaplanet allowed through the firewall and I think I'm running as administrator. It didn't save how far it got, which was about an eighth of the top bar's length before it broke.

Re: [TM2] Problem with install
It seems you having exactly same problem i had.
right from beta2 thru to 2nd last ingame up date I have never gotten it to work. not once
this included b2 to b3 to b4 to RC1to RC2 etc etc
see here:
http://forum.maniaplanet.com/viewtopic. ... =60#p78743
I was told "disable your firewall" , "its your connection" "etc etc" but as like you this download connection eror was only with tm2 I
I even had tech support from Legor to try and solve the problem.
it looked like my win7 install had either missing/or corrupt .dll files required for the game or that my isp was causing an error unique to connection with nadeo server.
So as i had a work around i just decided to go that way and copy/paste files from work pc and just put up with it.. But recently i upgraded my OS from win7 32 to 64 bit and had to reinstall the game ( I had previously tried just reinstall tm2 but that didnt fix it). anyway last ingame update that was released downloaded on 1st go.
hopefully this will continue with the next updates
im not saying a reinstall of your OS will solve your error but (going on a small sample tho)it did for me.
good luck
