no official mode

Hi,

i can't play official mode.
i won gold on all white,green and half of the blue maps today and was never asked if i wanted to switch to official mode.

i also didn't find a single thread dealing with this problem, so hopefully i'm doing somethin wrong, otherwise i am the only one that has this problem

Hey grindar, I was confused by this also, do you know you have to play in training for a total 5 minutes on each track before official becomes available? After you do the official race the timer resets... requiring practice for another 5 minutes before trying again.

The timer is in the bottom right of the screen during a race.

@djdiggler: do you mean i have to play 5 minutes on EVERY track befor it becomes avaiable on ANY track?
because there were several tracks i played definitly longer than 5 minutes and nothing happened.

You need to have the gold time on the map and wait 5 minutes. The time continue if you change the map or return on the menu.

Since official mode is the topic in this tread, I post my opposite problem here; Is there any way to turn of this option and then turn it on when u want? Coz I dont want it on all the time...my internet connection is very bad sometimes and its just disturbing me all the time when I drive....
