I think ManiaHost might be an great opportunity for players which are doing matches (e.g. Zotac cup or ESL ladder matches), but don't own a server. They would be able to rent one server for their matches for about 2-3 hours.
Looks like great stuff to me

Go, set it up, take the planets by the players and sell the planets for money to players which want a server hosted by you, but don't have enough planets. (Dunno if this is allowed by the maniaplanet rules).

For your information i have a server company since 7 years now.
If you are searching for a job, i can pay you 100000Planets (you like planets) / Month, i always help people in trouble.

Just tired to setup a maniahost, but when in try to create a server, I get a "undefined parameter: Client_id" when authorizing with maniaconnect.

In the link it says client_id=0

Any advise?

Have you create an application on your developer page ?

I have created a API user and added maniaconnect to it.

You have to create an application with this API user, you won't have any other data to enter in your config file. But for us, we will have all the requirements to redirect to your Manialink.

Click on manage User, on the list of your API Username. Then click on Create a ManiaConnect application

You should now see the form bellow

In the redirection URI should be something like this:
http://UrlToYourManiaHost/index.php/rent/

As i wrote earlier I did create a maniaconnect, but in the redirect URL i only wrote: http://myDomane/
So I didn't include "/index.php/rent/" could that be the problem?

I use maniaconnect on our manialink as well, and there I only use the main URL address.
